On Friday, the state of Illinois entered Phase 3 of the Illinois Restoration Plan, and from May 29, all Illinois restaurants and bars will be allowed to open outdoor seating areas to customers. As part of this phase, restaurants in all states have adjusted their menu items to prepare for the opening of outdoor seating areas to customers, according to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
According to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, bars and restaurants are allowed to serve beer and alcohol in outdoor seating areas from May 29 to July 1, 2017.
The open-air beer garden opens on 29 May at 12 noon and is open to the public the following day, 30 May, until 1 July from 12 noon to 2.30 pm.

Dr. Levine said there is only one county in the state that has a percentage positive of more than 5%, and that is Cook County, a county with a population of about 1.5 million people. In all, 59 districts have at least one restaurant with more than 10,000 square feet of outdoor seating, "Levine said.
In Homer Glen and Lockport, Patch has compiled a list of well-known restaurants and bars that now offer outdoor seating. Governor J.B. Pritzker encouraged local authorities to close the roads and do what they can to help the facilities. When outdoor seating was announced, many adjusted their activities and changed them to continue serving food through pickup and service. From 16 March, all restaurants and bars were closed to diners.
To further enforce the mask order, the administration launched a civil lawsuit against companies that remained open and enforced the mask mandate to protect them from civil lawsuits. Within two weeks, all schools in the county that have adopted an internal learning or mixed model must sign a certificate confirming that safety protocols have been followed. If schools do not sign the form, they must offer distance learning in full and cease all extracurricular activities. Dr Levine recommends schools provide 100% remote learning, but the decision is still up to local authorities.
The Health Ministry is implementing a residence permit that came into effect on Monday, November 23. The Pennsylvania Licensed Drinks and Taverns Association responded to the decision to stop selling alcohol on Wednesday with a statement from the association's executive director, Dr. John C. Dolan.
